How I am celebrating this October Friday the 13th:
Seaming my Wool and the Gang Sunny Tunic in Tina Tape’s “Mellow Mauve”. Tencel made from eucalyptus. I’m going to tell anyone who asks that it’s made from recycled lip balm.
Watching the first two Friday the 13th steelbooks (and then possibly watching the remake, because Jared Padalecki).
Then working on the podcast: next in the House of Leaves series and the third Boo Without Goo episode for your Halloween movie viewing enjoyment.
Plus a general catchup episode, and reading you a scary story or two for Spooky Season. I owe you. And today’s Sci-Friday post, because I need to get back into the swing of things.
Hope today is lucky and spooky for you! 👻
These counselors were definitely not trained on the buddy system. At Camp Occoneechee, we were not allowed to do anything alone. To quote Scream: “You pee, I pee.”
How do you rank the classic 80s horror series we grew up with? I know, I know - some of them started during the 70s, but of course they all stretched their legs some time around 1985. Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm St, maybe Hellraiser is also in this category... how would you rank 'em?
