The stream of consciousness begins

r/classicbookclub announced their next group read. It’s one of the more challenging novels in the English language, I eventually want to read all of this author’s work, and…this novel is part of The Story Graph reading challenge I created: Harvard Bookstore Top 100. There’s my celebratory run-on sentence for you. Here we are, then, me and The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner, The Corrected Text. Talk to me, Mr. Faulkner, I’m joining in.

“I am in awe of Faulkner’s Benjy, James’s Maisie, Flaubert’s Emma, Melville’s Pip, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein—each of us can extend the list.... I am interested in what prompts and makes possible this process of entering what one is estranged from.” —Toni Morrison
